Episode 11
This Advent at Open Table, we are working on a series called "Reflecting the Sacred" in which we are contemplating the many ways that the Divine is reflected (and refracted) in our lives, our world, and each other. So to that end, we are going to be releasing conversations with some of our partners over the next few weeks talking about the ways that they see the divine reflected in their lives.
First up is the Rev. Cean James, pastor of Salt and Light Church in Southwest Philly and our Associate Conference Minister for Congregational Development. Cean is a dreamer, a fighter, and a fierce advocate who believes that God is up to something new and subversive in our times. We talked about the future of the Church, the irresistible call of Christ, and the surprising ways that God works on the margins. It's a great conversation, and we think you will love it.
